The request was to create a photograph that captured a scene at local beach and incorporate the family within without being too prominent. 

They were thrilled with the results which is proudly displayed in the living room.

Commissioned by the University of San Fransico’s Young Adult Family Center to produce a gallery of images for the Website GRIT X (2015)

The website is there to provide adolescents and young adults (and inevitably adults) with the very highest levels of mental health care within a safe and caring environment. It is carefully crafted with tools of discovery and exploration along with resources and courses with one of these discovery tools is being an area callled “Catch Your Breath”
With the help of a selection of patterned breathing and a choice of images and soundscapes that enhances the experience, the visitor will inevitably calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety and feel better. Try it for yourself and learn the power of breath and mindfulness.

GRIT X

From the GRIT X website: “At the Young Adult and Family Center we provide adolescents and young adults with the highest levels of mental health care, so they can become their most authentic selves, with a love of life and a deep connection to others and the world around them. We inspire grit, teach them how to find resilience, and to tell their own stories, their own way.” 

The Young Adult and Family Center is located at the UCSF Weill Institute for Neurosciences, on the campus ofthe University of California at San Francisco.
