LUMINANCE
The intricate dance between light and water is on full display in this series of images taken at Skorradalsvatn (lake), Iceland.
The elements had to be just right to capture the high contrast, dramatic scenes; The sun, mountains and clouds overhead playing in such beautiful harmony, allowing me to capture these fleeting moments.
I am so grateful for the 18 years I visited this beautiful lake and the cabin my parents owned, yes past tense, as now it belongs to another family who gets to create memories where I once did.
Skorradalur will always be close to my heart and mind. Perhaps I will create a gallery of images solely from there.....
